Works on Paper
Leibows works on paper are the catalyst that most work starts out as. WPA folk style drawings spun into black and white works were used for recording artist Bruce Springsteen, who commissioned Leibow to do them for his album/CD covers, Tour-books along with other works of art. They were ultimately used for the 1995-1996 world tour book. Bruce and his art director asked Leibow to listen to Bruce's new unreleased music along with his older Nabraska album of the same style sound, soon after Leibow had created works of art based on the lyrics, tone, empathy and atmosphere mused by Springsteen's resonance for the new release and world concert Tour.
